Communities Connect Network

City funded computer lab resource portal website built with Drupal and Google Maps

CCN is a network of people and organizations working to make Washington State a leader in “digital inclusion” – the movement to ensure that all individuals have access and the skills to use the Internet and information technologies. The network includes individual supporters, community based organizations, government bodies, technology and telecommunications companies, nationally and internationally based. The project is sponsored primarily by The EdLab Group, Broadband Technologies Opportunities Program and the City of Seattle.

CCN approached Fuse IQ with the challenge to broaden their reach online and increase the functionality of their current online presence. They needed to ensure users had full access to the information about the technology centers, allow for easier editing and contributions from the various individuals and groups supporting the program, and provide a new look and feel for the site.

The Communities Connect Network Drupal website is now immensely more useful and user-friendly. The multitude of users across the state are more able to find technology centers, especially ones that fit their special needs.
